A celebration of life at Bear Field, Cowbridge
A memorial football match was held on the Bear Field, Cowbridge recently to celebrate the life of Gethin Roberts who devastatingly passed away last year. This followed a memorial in the Duke where stories, poems and memories of Geth were shared.
The Roberts family chose to set up ‘Geth’s fund’ to raise money for Mind in the Vale of Glamorgan and to support suicide prevention campaign #ItTakesBallsToTalk which encourages men to talk and access vital support. As part of the campaign we provide promotional materials, support and advice, suicide prevention training and mental health awareness training.
