Mind in the Vale offers Mental Health Awareness Training to individuals and organisations wishing to build on their knowledge of mental health.

This course is delivered by a Mental Health Practitioner with an exemplary knowledge base and over 20 years experience.

How is the course delivered?

This is an online course delivered via Zoom. If you have a large group and would like in-person training please click here

How much does it cost to join?

The course fee is just £30. As well as an informative hour with our trainer with 20 years+ experience in mental health, you’ll also get an e-certificate emailed to you following attendance. 

What are the course objectives?

The course objectives are:

  • To understand what is meant by the term mental illness and mental health
  • To understand the risk factors that may contribute to a mental health problem
  • To challenge some of the stereotypes and stigma that are associated with mental illness
  • To understand the term ‘recovery’
