Mind in the Vale of Glamorgan delivers both the half day Suicide First Aid Lite and the 1 day Suicide First Aid training courses. The courses gives learners the knowledge and tools to understand that suicide is one of the most preventable deaths, in an evidence-based and interactive format that covers both theoretical and practical skills.

Suicide First Aid - 1 Day Course
The Suicide First Aid one-day training course for suicide intervention skills has been developed in partnership with the International City & Guilds Approved Centre Suicide First Aid Qualifications.
The course focuses on teaching the theory and practice of suicide intervention skills that can be applied in any professional or personal setting. Participants also have the opportunity to attain 6 QCF credits at level 4 by completing an additional assessment.
The course is suitable for anyone over the age of 18 and participants can attend for personal or professional reasons.
Course priced at £163 pp.
Suicide First Aid Lite - Half Day Course
The Suicide First Aid Lite is a great half day (3 hours) alternative to the 1-day SFA. The course gives learners the knowledge and tools to understand that suicide is one of the most preventable deaths and some basic skills can help someone with thoughts of suicide stay safe from their thoughts and stay alive.
Teaching the theory and practice of suicide intervention skills that can be applied in any professional or personal setting, this programme is a suicide prevention awareness session.
The course is suitable for anyone over the age of 18 and participants can attend for personal or professional reasons.
Course priced at £85 pp.
