A gift in your Will to support Mind in the Vale of Glamorgan will benefit our work immediately and can make a lasting contribution for generations to come.
Your will is very personal, and we strongly advise you to consult your legal advisor before drafting a new will or updating an existing one. If you do decide to donate to Mind in the Vale of Glamorgan through your Will, then you can choose to give a percentage of your estate or a specific amount. Your solicitor or other legal advisor will help you draft your will but a suggestion for the wording might be:
“I give the whole (or a percentage share) of the residue of my estate to Mind in the Vale of Glamorgan …..” OR
“I give free of tax the sum of £ (in figures and words) to Mind in the Vale of Glamorgan to be used for its general charitable purposes, and I declare that the receipt of the Treasurer or other duly authorised officer shall be a full and sufficient discharge to my Executors.”
Mind in the Vale of Glamorgan has been awarded the Mind Quality Mark (MQM). The MQM is a robust quality assurance framework created by Mind, the mental health charity.
