Community Support from Penarth Tesco
Mind in the Vale were recently invited down to Tesco in Penarth by Andrew Pugh to take part in an event which featured staff sporting ‘messy hair’. In addition this this, 3 staff members shaved off their lockdown locks – one of which was long enough to donate to The Little Princess Trust who provide free real hair wigs to children and young people, up to 24 years, who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or other conditions.
Through customer donations and Geraint, Luke and Malcolm’s sponsorship Penarth Tesco have raised an incredible £798.00 for Mind in the Vale of Glamorgan.
This event was also a great opportunity for customers to stop and chat and get information on services offered in the Vale of Glamorgan.
