Mind in the Vale of Glamorgan is proud to announce that we have been awarded the Mind Quality Mark (MQM) in 2024 and 2020. The MQM is a robust quality assurance framework developed by Mind, the mental health charity, setting the benchmark for best practices and legal compliance across the Mind Federation. Local Minds undergo a rigorous MQM assessment every three years, led by individuals with lived experience of mental health challenges and senior leaders from other local Minds. The process involves a comprehensive review of documentary evidence, alongside interviews and survey feedback from trustees, staff, volunteers, and service users. Achieving the MQM signifies that an organisation is well-managed, safe, and delivering life-changing support for those experiencing mental health difficulties.
