Rosedew sunflowers raise money for mental health
Mind in the Vale of Glamorgan were delighted to receive a very generous donation of £1368.14 recently from Rosedew Farm in Llantwit Major. Dellana Davies, from Rosedew contacted us to let us know that they were opening up their beautiful sunflower field to the public. Farmer, Daf Davies recently planted the field as a lockdown experiement. When the field started to bloom, the family wanted to allow everyone the chance to enjoy the surroundings and the family decided to donate all proceeds to Mind in the Vale and local school Ysgol Dewi Sant.
Hundreds of visitors enjoyed a boost to their wellbeing, getting out walking among and picking the sunflowers, with the added option of exploring the Maize Maze.
