Community Support from Tesco Penarth
Mind in the Vale were recently invited down to Tesco in Penarth by Andrew Pugh to take part in an event which featured staff sporting ‘messy hair’. In addition this this, 3 staff members shaving off their lockdown locks – one of which was long enough to donate to The Little Princess Trust who provide free real hair wigs to children and young people, up to 24 years, who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or other conditions.
Andrew, Luke and Malcolm have raised money for Mind in the Vale of Glamorgan and the store did some fundraising of their own, final amount to be confirmed.
This event was a great opportunity for customers to stop and chat and get information on services offered in their area.
