If you are struggling with anxiety and depression our guided self-help may help.

We will usually see you in your GP practice or our offices, BUT since the COVID pandemic we will deliver our services virtually in line with most other services.

Guided self-help takes place over 6 – 8 sessions.

During your first session we will talk to you about the problems you are having and support you to prioritise the areas you would like help with. We use a number of different practical guides to help you – these are based on the principles of CBT.

Alongside the guided self-help as part of the sessions we will provide assistance with practical problems and we will signpost you or refer you to other agencies and services that can help you – e.g. issues around debt, employment, careers, housing, relationships, addictions etc.

We offer a range of different areas to focus on. As these symptoms are interlinked, at times we work on more than one guided self-help module. Our trained staff will help guide you through the self-help to provide you with skills and techniques with the hope that you can cope differently and positively manage these difficult situations.
