Providing a bespoke and person centred service for anyone 16+ living in the Vale of Glamorgan, offering a range of different support and interventions.

You will initially be offered a one to one appointment using the Recovery Star which will highlight the areas you need help and support with, this may include making referrals to other specialist services where appropriate.  For example; counselling, housing, debt, benefits, employment etc.

We can offer you face to face appointments (at our locations listed below), telephonic or on-line – whatever suits you.

Following your initial assessment you may be signposted into the following services:

Peer Support

Developed and delivered by people with a lived experience of mental health. Our peer support sessions are whenever possible held in community venues, and outdoors in local open spaces during the spring/summer months or when the weather allows.

Activities range from wellbeing sessions, relaxation, quizzes, trips, support groups, training, courses and guest speakers

These sessions are for anyone struggling with their mental health and want to make friends and build up the confidence to access mainstream courses.

Self-Help Groups

We currently offer a women only peer support session, a men only peer support session and a guitar workshop where people can learn to play (guitars provided).

Please contact us on 01446730792 if you wish to access any of these.

Guided Self Help & Social Prescribing

Our Guided Self Help is one to one and will help you identify and manage the issues that are impacting on your mental health.  This works over a period of 6 – 8 weeks.  This service is available face to face, GP practices or our offices.  We can also provide the service telephonically or virtually via online platforms.   Click for more information and a self-referral form.
